She has conducted research on the health effects of emerging workplace hazards in tropical environments, with her findings published in leading occupational medicine journals. Dr. Kwah has trained numerous physicians in occupational health principles and serves as the director of the Singapore Occupational Medicine Residency Program. In 2018, she received the Ministry of Manpower's Excellence in Occupational Health Award.
